Partition walls and acoustical ceilings define your floor plan — where private offices are, where open work areas are, where corridors run, where conference rooms sit. Getting the framing right the first time requires coordinating with the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing scope before any studs go up. We run those coordination conversations during pre-construction, not on the job site.
Metal-stud partition walls get framed to the height specified by your architectural plans — either to the ceiling or full-height to the deck, depending on acoustic requirements. Walls between offices, conference rooms, and adjacent tenant spaces get acoustic batt insulation. Drywall gets taped and finished to a smooth surface appropriate for commercial paint or wallcovering. Where glass-front offices are part of the design, we frame and install aluminum storefront glazing systems.
Acoustical ceiling grid work runs parallel to rough-in trades. We leave proper openings for HVAC diffusers, sprinkler heads, electrical fixtures, and access panels during framing and ceiling grid installation. Southeast Michigan businesses rely on that coordination because trades working without a plan create conflicts above the ceiling that cause delays when they're discovered — after the grid is up and wiring is run.
