Luxury Vinyl Plank Installation with Proper Underlayment Systems

Luxury vinyl plank has become the practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and high-traffic living areas in Metro Detroit homes. We install premium LVP products from COREtec, Shaw, and Mohawk with manufacturer-specified underlayment and the correct expansion gaps at all walls and fixed objects. Subfloor prep is the same as for any other flooring type. We test moisture levels, level high and low spots to within manufacturer tolerances, and repair damaged areas before installation begins. Click-lock and glue-down methods are both available depending on subfloor type and the specific product. We don't skip the underlayment or use the wrong type. Both affect sound reduction, feel underfoot, and warranty compliance.
