Stock cabinets come in fixed increments — 12-inch, 15-inch, 18-inch boxes — which means most kitchens end up with filler strips, wasted corner space, and storage that doesn't match how the family actually uses the room. We build to your kitchen's exact dimensions with configurations designed around your specific storage needs, appliances, and workflow. The result fits the room instead of fighting it.
Every cabinet we build uses traditional dovetail joinery in the box construction — not stapled butt joints. Dovetail joints are mechanical connections that hold without relying on glue alone, which is why they stay tight through years of daily use. We use select-grade white oak, cherry, maple, or walnut depending on your design direction, and we finish with catalyzed lacquer or hand-rubbed oil. Soft-close hardware from Blum or Hettich goes on every drawer and door as standard.
Our kitchen island designs are built around how your family works in the space. If you need a prep sink and dishwasher in the island, we coordinate the plumbing rough-in. If you want a breakfast bar with outlets for charging, our electricians wire it in during the rough-in phase. We pull all permits through Oakland County and manage every trade so you're not coordinating between contractors on your own.
